all applications that are sold in the app store are compatible with the ipod touch exept for the vidoe cam and stuff like that wich is for iPhone

is your iPod touch on 3.0 or 2.2.1 firmware
anyway you should be able to open itunes store on your ipod scroll down to the bottom of the page and there should be a sign in icon then it should let you sign in otherwise if this doesnt work then contact apple.
because my ipod is 3.0 it may not have that icon but try it and see what happens

hey ya i did that and no you cannot get your music back unless you bought it fraom apple itunes store wich is all backed up but the music that was imported from cd's cannot be restored unless you put it all back on your computer and sync it and i recommend a back up of your music

more and more issues with apple products arent you sick of it apple should rethink a lot of there products very quickly because there going to have a lot of problems.

apple should not charge anything but there have been many recent fraud cases with hackers getting into apples servers and messing arround getting valuable information for example bank card numbers

lol the games in the app store are for iPod touch and iPhone you can try getting a refund because there not being very specific what games are for wich kind of iPods have you had games on there before?

try putting it in DFU mode basicly what it does it makes it unreponsive but it should turn on so your iPod should be off completly 1) hold the power and the home button down at the same time for 10 secconds
2)realease the POWER button but keep holding the HOME button untill a little icon with a little USB facing up towards an itunes logo
3)then let go and if it show that logo then plug into your computer and restore your ipod if the steps the guy before me dont work try these.
