There should be a menu down the left hand side, but otherwise that's how it should look. It seems to be ok now, so maybe it was just one of those things! Thanks for your help.

Just checked again and it seems to be alright now. It was down for about 30 mins and I'm still not sure why. Thanks for the usually great service though!

My site seems to be down and is returning an HTTP 500 error. (URL is www.annewitton.org.uk). Is this an issue at Yola's end? Any idea of how quickly it will be fixed? Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for that. I am actually using the Flickr gallery at the moment (http://www.annewitton.org.uk/photogra...) but I'm building a site for my Dad and he wants a bit more flexibility (and also doesn't want a Flickr account), so that's why I'm looking for another solution.

Thanks for your responses. I think the slideshows on the Yola Code site are great and may well use one of them. However, I'm still looking for a gallery script that will work in Yola. Just something that will display thumbnails and then enlarged images in a stylish way when the thumbnails are clicked.

Does anyone know if any of these gallery scripts work in Yola?

A comment on the question "How do you link within a page? - not just page to page or email or outside source." in Yola:

No probs. You can also combine anchors with a dropdown menu, as I have with the 'topic menu' on my site: http://www.annewitton.org.uk/individu...

You will need to add an anchor link using HTML. This site gives you a step-by-step guide showing you how to do it: http://tipsandtricks.synthasite.com/A...

Javascript lightbox from Dynamic Drive

I would like to use the following script from Dynamic Drive to create a lightbox on my Yola site:

I know that it says I have to upload a .js file and that this isn't currently possible with Yola. However, i wondered if there's a workaround. Could I edit the .js file and paste the script into an HTML box directly on the page?

I tried to do the free listing as you suggested, but when I'd found the right category and clicked 'Suggest a site' I wasn't presented with the free version, only the paid option. Am I doing something wrong?

Ah ha! I don't think I realised that! (Or at least, I'd forgotten since I experimented with templates when I first started using Yola). Thanks for taking the time to look at my site. I do see what you mean about the colour scheme. I can't really change the template as it would be loads of hassle on a site with this many pages. I'll have a think about changing the banner at the top though.
