I just want to say to Monique and all the others that getting a lot of slack from the Pro account that you are doing a great job! I for one am happy with Yola for several reasons.
1. They have free web hosting, with no Ads, this is the only company to offer as much webspace for free and not make you pay to remove the ads. That means you can use you own domain here for free with no ads.
2. The do not charge for bandwith, which means that your site is always up and does not get blocked if you exceed it.
3. I am a Yola expert and website designer and get commission for every item that I sell to my customer. I have never came across that and they are still cheaper than the rest.
4. I rather pay $20 a year for a domain and have free hosting than pay $5-$6 for one the first year and have to pay for hosting and triple for it the next year.
5. I am very happy with the service that you get here, every one here is quick to help and does whatever they can to get things right.
Keep up the good work, Yola, you are great, I will always remain a faithful customer here and recommend it to all my clients.

Yes, they do, the host I used before I came here charged for bandwidth, which is the amount of clicks per page, per month, if you went over the amount, they blocked access to the site until you either paid more or your month renewed – Christie, on October 01, 2009 12:12

Donald, it sounds like what you have going on is much more that what Yola can handle anyway. It's free web hosting and we have no limits on how many people can view the site, we are saving a lot of money just in that. I have a 199 pages and I am barely making a dent in my file storage. Good luck to you in what you have going on, all the best to you.

Thanks. Now I understand.
I do not want to add HTML files, just use the editor, I was referring to PDF files, I would never want to download HTML files.
Thanks again – Christie, on September 30, 2009 19:39

Thanks Monique, you have helped, I can understand about the storage limits and needing to curb abuse. Sadly some people out there are just not as honest as the rest of us who are grateful for a hosting company that does not charge fees and want to abuse that gift. – Christie, on September 30, 2009 18:59

Thanks, I understand that. My concern is about limits to domains that have been purchased already and how I can detach the sites I created for customers on my account. – Christie, on September 30, 2009 18:47

Okay, I have a few concerns about this, I understand the limits when we are using the free domains, but when we buy them we should still be able to have access to all of the features.
Some of the websites I own are not even mine, but ones that I have created for my customers. I encourage them to buy them from here and now the only way to be able to do some things is buy going pro, regardless if we buy the domain or not.
And 25 sites? Who needs 25 sites? Maybe I am not understanding this?
I charge my customers less because Yola does not charge hosting fees and never had to deal with storage issues as the other providers do, but now it seems to be getting like the others.
Like I said, maybe I am misunderstanding this, I know I should have created separate accounts for these people, but I was trying to keep everything simple. If there was a was for me to transfer my domains to a separate Yola account for my customers I would be glad to do that.

Christie asked a question in Yola on September 24, 2009 19:54:
How Do I Purchase A Domain & Keep The One It Is Pointing To?I have a domain that was purchased from another provider www.bucklerpromotions.com pointing to a sub domain that I created here, but would now like to purchase one from here and still keep the other attached to it. How can I do that?
Thanks
