A comment on the question "site coming up as unverified on goggle search engine" in Yola:
Hi PWF,
I can't understand what you are talking about. Are you referring to the 'not verified by Norton AntiVirus' in search engines, or your overall appearance and design of your own website?
If you are referring to the design of your website, that is totally your own doing. You designed the site, it is up to you to decide how to make it look attractive to potential customers.
Your reply kinda sounds as if you are thinking that by paying Yola (for a domain or pro package) that you expect that they create your site and design it for you. Yola dosen't do this. If you want someone to do this check out the Yola Experts program where you can get an expert to help design your site.
Can you tell us what you mean?

Usually scripts will work anyway if you put it inside the head tags and put it at the top of the page, well at least the scripts I have used. – Connor McCarra, on November 03, 2009 18:23
A comment on the idea "Membership" in Yola:
Allowing users to upload there own databases, would be something too complicated for Yola's target audience and this would go against what Yola's mission is. Just because you are able to create and edit databases, dosen't mean everyone can, therefore it wouldn't be viable for Yola to release something like this. – Connor McCarra, on November 03, 2009 18:19
A comment on the praise "Thanks Donald" in Yola:
I would still stick with Analytics.
One good reason why you may be seeing these changes is that most of that extra visits (100-400 or whatever) are your own visits. More than likely GetClicky does this automatically for your or you just tick a box, and GA dosen't. You just need to add a custom filter in order to do this in GA.
The reason GA isn't realtime is because this way it can provide more accurate analytics.
If you take the time to experiment with GA you can do some really amazing stuff and it is highly customizable. For example, if you have a online store you can track everything possible about your buyers such as where they came from, what they bought, how much, best selling items and totals. – Connor McCarra, on November 02, 2009 23:13

Hi Donald,
You could maybe categorize then into would type of scripting they are. For example, HTML and Javascript would be client side scripting while php and asp are server side scripting, and so on.
Volume 1: Client Side Scripting
Volume 2: Server Side Scripting
You said one of the purposes of the book was, 'learn about computer languages myself...'. I would of thought you would need to know alot (experience and stuff) about what you are writing about, to write a book on it.
Just my thoughts,
Connor
