I am planning to start a blog, after the fantastic experience I had with my Yola website. The problem is that Yola has nothing 100% suitable for this blog (not even in Pro). I like "Fantastic 36 Sunflower" template but there's not enough space for articles.
I finally decided for a template that allows me change background "No Frills black ". However, this does not seem to help me because I want to include one picture on a golden background (this background is not available in Yola). If I use "tiles" option the photo will reapeat and I do not want that..I need only my golden pattern photo to repeat...could you please take a look and let me know if you have any ideas?? I really do not know ..what if i upload a bigger size photo (photo + golden background)...and if I do...how big should this be??

I also have problems in opening the sitebuilder, I see the pages in my sitebuilder as Zoomed, if i change something on the page and do not save but click preview the preview page is loading loading endlessly...finally I close it save it separately and click preview again. Sometimes errors occur and I am forced to close teh site builder and reopen again...All these since last week...I do not know what to think..Is it Yola? -

banner problemsI have problems with my banners. I am using Numerology template and I changed the banners with pictures that are more appropriate for my website. I have discovered that for every banner I upload the File manager automatically saves a smaller size one. Later on, I wanted to "arrange" some of them with Picknik so I chose the smaller size ones from my File Manager and edited them. Now after changing the banners with the new small size edited ones I saw that even if the banners look normal on my laptop, they look very poor (pixelate) on my husband's new laptop. I am confused because I do not know if I did something wrong. I tried to change my newly edited banner (small sized ones with the uploaded big size banners but uploading does not work. Why? -

I tried to embed a banner i received (.swf) and followed the steps here but no result...the widget looks empty (I tried again and again and again) but nothing..
I uploaded the swf file in my File manager, I dragged HTML widget, paste the above code and changed the file name with my swf file name, and...nothing..
what do I do wrong? -

I do not know what to say, my site language is Romanian maybe google did not learn it yet :) :) :) but translations are available for ir in Google.
Just to show you that I am not crazy :) I copied the list bellow and translated the irrelevant words (between brackets).

Hi Duke, I added analytics long time ago, the keywords are from the text, of course but they are so irrelevant, such as :
and, in, through, they, etc..who would search these words?? but I do not see other keywords such as, diaspora, community, pyramids, pharaos, souvenirs, shopping, museums, ancient Egypt...which exist on my content and they were added to the keyword pannel in my sitebuilder.... -

SEO-google webmasterI have submitted my site to Google webmaster as per tutorials and it was verified but still have the following questions/situations:
1) I search in google with mysite.com and it does not appear. I search google with my site Title and it appears the first one...why?
2) I changed teh title of my site because the old one was to long and no one would have searched for it in that shape. I updated the site, and if I search google with the new title (more general) I do not find my site but if I still search with the old title I find it in the top of the list. After changing the title do I have to submit my site again, or this is done automatically, only that google needs time for the new changes?
3) in my googlewebmaster, I see in "how googlebot sees" my site, some strange and irrelevant keywords, different than those I filled in my yola sitebuilder...why and how can I fix this? -

My site is www.egiptul.ro and represents the Romanian community in Egypt. I still have a lot of work to do , I want to keep it active and add new pages, one by one...I am trying to figure out how to use the google translator so as I may make it accesible to everyone, not only for Romanian speakers..
However, I saw something I liked on your chilloutmusic, (YouTube - Ancient Egypt) and I was wondering what to do to have it on my homepage....

A great idea indeed! My site www.egiptul.ro, for the Romanian Community living here, but not only...I would like to add a translation tool but I still couldn't figure out how it works (I used google widget but it did not work).

I raised this problem on my topic called HELP and Marije asked me more details and the URL in order to check. Unfortunately she could not revert to me so I am waiting for her answer tomorrow, maybe?
I did mention the banner problem to Emmy in my email, as well, but not the whole image story (that I have discovered later in the night). Honestly I am so overwhelmed by all the problems I have with my website that I was thinking not to bombard Emmy even with that.
However, i will send another email with this specific issue.
