Hi Monique,
I did send an email earlier today, but haven't heard from you since.
All is well! Don't ask me what it was, cos I don't know. This morning checked from mate's pc - ok. Came home and tried my pc in the office - ok. Tried other pc - ok.
Last night we had a bad storm and I unplugged the router. This morning I plugged it back in. Perhaps it reset something from the ISP side (Telkom and SAIX). Back to laptop - now ok on Firefox, but still same problem with IE.
Definitely sems to be an IE thing. Maybe some security setting preventing the download or opening of a Yola file?? Anyway, I was able to post to all 3 blogs and update them properly. Thanks for the support. Great team!!
So still in the dark, but able to get in! Thanks everyone.
Derek

Hi John, No as I said, I hadn't entered the site for a day or 2. The last thing I had done was try to verify the site with Google, but it seemed fine when I left. I know of the problems with Word etc and always run things through Notebook first. I learn't the hard way a couple of years back, but thanks for the tip.

Hey Smithy, I really thought you had something there, but I tried it and no diffs. I've tried refreshing, creaing new page, all sorts, but the only thing I haven't done is update the site. It is only this site. The other sites are fine. I have tried other browsers, cleared my cache. Done it all, maybe someone has another brilliant idea. Thanks a lot.

I don't think I stressed clearly enough that I am not able to do anything with the site. It's not only the age properties that I'm worried about. Because of this problem the editor continuously tries to open the page, but never fuly loads and I can't do anything if it doesn't load. Actually the little wheel in the red loading bar doesn't even turn. It's stuck. Instead of a question, maybe I should have reported it as a problem.

Help! Page properties seem to have disappeared?I wonder if one of you kind Yola folk can help with a rather unique problem. All of a sudden, without posting, editing or adding anything, my one site has gone wonky. It will not open the page properties. The content on the pages load, but it keeps on trying to open the other bit. It gets stuck on "opening page". If I view the source, half the headings and metatags are missing.
The site is displaying fine live on the internet and the source appears correct. I am scared to update the site, as this will obviously change the live site, by saving the error, but I need to post.
What has happened and how can it be fixed? My other sites are fine. Can Yola access that part of the page, or do they have a saved backup or something? I cannot get in to the page properties atall, to edit them, as it seems to want, so I can't see what is wrong.
I hope I don't have to delete and start over, but as its only the one part and I haven't updated, I'm hoping for a quick fix.
I have had a reply from Monique, from the Yola suport team, who says all loads fine and she can't see any problem? Anyone know what's going on?
The site is www.fitnessandfatless.yolasite.com
Thanks,
Derek

Can we pre-set blog posting dates? Is it possible to alter posting dates on the blog? This would allow us to post a few in advance for consecutive days and save having to post every day. I see others have asked about this some time back, but is there any progress with this, or has anyone been able to wangle the system?

Link for other sites to receive my RSS feed?Hi. I am trying to find/setup an RSS feed for my blog. Not to receive other sites' content, but to ping my latest blog post to my other sites and blogs. (They receive a feed from here) I don't seem to be getting it right. I searched your tutorials, but the one on RSS says page not found. What is the link I use? By the way, do you have pinging or submission widgets at all?

Hi Littleus, Thanks for your help. I actually meant promoting Yola through Clickbank. I have been using Clickbank successfully for about 5 years. Payfast is not really an option. It may work here (although I haven't heard of it) but when marketing worldwide, customers are put off. I mean, would you buy from me with Payfast, or would you prefer to buy from someone else, using PayPal? Not to worry. I'm satisfied, but would like to be able to promote Yola properly. Maybe some timein the future? Cheers!

Wow! Can Yola get any better? Over the years I have tried many free and paid hosting plans, before I arrived on your doorstep and I must say I'm really impressed. Just one problem though. I want to promote the hell out of Yola, but can't do so because your affiliate plan works through PayPal. One of our biggest disadvantages is that South Africans and many other countries are not permitted merchant accounts with PayPal. Thus, even your shopping cart feature is wastedon us. Any chance of incorporating Clickbank at some stage? Thanks.

I'm trying to create a link to a downloadable zip file??Hi, can someone help me. I want to give a download as a reward for signing up to my Aweber account. The download link will be sent to them in an email I uploaded the product but can't seem to create the right link. I created a folder in resources (File manager) called vault. I then tried mysite.com/resources/vault/product.zip but no good. Also, are we limited to bandwidth? If folk download our supplied goods, is there any limit? Thanks

Sounds like the sort of thing Telkom would do. They are a law unto themselves, but it is very unfair to block all sites, because of a problem with one. If they had approached Yola on Friday, I'm sure none of this would have happened. We need to prevent a repeat of this in the future. Thanks to Yola staff and others and let's hope we are back up tomorrow, once the Telkom "managers" are informed.
