A comment on the question "My blog is blocked for editing. JavaHtml problem?" in Yola:
Bingo
I think i'm going to intentionally create problems in my site just as to have the opportunity to enjoy your outstanding assistance. I'm not used to such luxury, but you know, one gets used to the goog things.
Thanks a lot!
Firefox: I tried it, I like it in many aspects, but I got so used to my explorer, that I feel more comfortable with it, Anyway, I will remember that it may be helpful if similar problems arise. – Eli Guy, on October 27, 2009 15:37

A comment on the question "Great: My kingdom for a tip! How do I format a Hebrew text in the text widget of my Yola site? Ooops, both great and long." in Yola:
Thanks to Marije, fast, clear, and patient,
And thanks to you too!
To whom should I send my kingdom, as I promised?
It's not big, but a word is a word is a word. As I'd better know, in my profession.
And again. It was a real nice experience.
P.S., And yes, a better text-editor window will not be considered a luxury, I say, without knowing your constrains. Just a layman's impression – Eli Guy, on October 20, 2009 18:22

thanks again,
no hurry
of course, it helped. no miracle, just a basic html lesson. which reminds me that perhaps I should learn some more html, this will help of course.
right now i dont have a direct solution to to some problems, all having to do with more html codes. especially the justified formatting of a paragraph.
for the time being I am satisfied, I keep working in roundabout ways, but most of my site is ready, and good enough for my present needs.
now it is time to forget about it, let it ripen in google, if G helps, and go back to my neglected professional work, in language-editing and translations.
after all, the www.safayafa.com is just a tool for this, and not the other way round.
addiction is pleasing, but takes its toll.
you have been great, thanks, toda, danke, merci, takk, koesenem sepen, etc. – Eli Guy, on October 20, 2009 17:50

hi Marije,
here is a sample.

Iside the text widget you have the first chapter of the Bible (old testament)
Outside - the results of the censorship.
Where have I gone wrong?
Thanks again – Eli Guy, on October 19, 2009 19:26

ARN'T YOU QUICK!
My browser, my dear old browser (I found it in Antarctica or in New Zealand, who remembers?) is (please, stand up) yes, IE 7!! (you may sit)..
yes I did, in fact I know those vicious tricks of the codes that need be stripped.
The 3rd advice will not help me. I think (although I woudnt bet my bald head on it) that I understood the structure, so that I didnt work only mechanically,.
And for your No. 4, I will provide an example later, perhaps tomorrow, if you will be so patient. what I did so far I didnt keep
Thanks again!

(I may be repeating, for I replied somewhere but I dont see it anywere)
Thanks a lot Marije,
It was crystal clear. I followed your instructions once, twice and thrice, perhaps even more, all went well BUT!
The text didnt show on the text widget, although it surely was in the html!
Oh, disappointment, oh, frustration. By the way, for the time being I do solve most of the problems, as you might see in my site, but it is a risky game from the blog editor to word and back, and from there to the text widget.
What I would really like to achiev is skill and dexterity in using the new (for me) system, which I like a lot.
Farewell googlepages, it's Yola time now. – Eli Guy, on October 19, 2009 18:13

Great: My kingdom for a tip! How do I format a Hebrew text in the text widget of my Yola site? Ooops, both great and long.Hello to you who read this!
My site is mainly in Hebrew.
When I insert text into the text widget, alas! havoc! a mess!
So I try formatting in Word and copypasting.
No, this doesnt work. Correction: it works but only half way.
The blog text editor is somewhat better. Its only problem is that it adds double paragrapy passages, and I have to delete them manually.
Is there a simpler way to format a text in the page, or in the text widget?
It takes me sooooooo many hours to just insert a few lines...
Otherwise so far so good. I am happy with my site, it's modest, but my customers dont need to get impressed by an extravagant design: neat and effective, I hope it is.
Thnks for your patience,
Eli
