Jesse replied on August 19, 2009 13:42 to the problem ""Invalid component id ''. Cannot find component HTML"" in Yola:
Good catch, Mike! That's funny because I noticed on Widgetbox that sometimes, when you click in the code, not all of it is highlighted. I thought I was copying the entire code, especially because the audio widget was working. But I guess I missed some. Thanks for the help!
(FYI - I was going to reply as a comment to Mike's reply, but that didn't allow me to click on a smily face).
Jesse marked one of Mike S's replies in Yola as useful. Mike S replied to the problem ""Invalid component id ''. Cannot find component HTML"".

Jesse reported a problem in Yola on August 18, 2009 15:37:
"Invalid component id ''. Cannot find component HTML"Help!
Is anyone else having this issue?
I'm getting this message every time I open my "Broadcast" page (http://jessekedy.net/broadcast.php):
"Invalid component id ''. Cannot find component HTML"
Every time I click OK, I get the same message for a different code (6 in all).
I believe this is referencing the Widgetbox audio widgets on the page.
- I'm using IE8 (I can't use Firefox or Chrome) and
- I don't have my site editor open in multiple tabs or windows.
I also noticed that everything below the lowest widget on the page is gone; these are items I include on every page on the site:
- my "download my vCard" link and vCard image
- my copyright message
- my Google Analytics code
And when I try replacing the missing information, it's gone the next time I refresh/ save the page.
Any helpful help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Thanks, Monique, for understanding the question.
That's all I was trying to do.
I thought it was a simple question, but it has gone on for a bit, hasn't it (2 days and 37 replies...).
OK, my next mini-mission is to find more about "www/url.com/page1.php/page1.1.php..."
FYI, I found you guys on Twitter - sweet! http://twitter.com/YolaWeb
You guys should have at least 10x or 100x the number of followers!

Hi Monique,
Can I please get you to jump in on my question ("How do I create sub-pages or sub-folders?")?
I feel like I'm speaking Flemish or something!
No one seems to understand my (seemingly simple) question about how pages appear in the address bar. Either that, or my IQ has dropped sharply. Is my question really so hard to understand?
Cheers,
Jesse

Hey SheepDude,
You're not just wondering about creating and linking pages, are you? If so, that's very simple to accomplish. Are you wondering about the way pages appear in the address bar or just about linking them? – Jesse, on April 21, 2009 14:47

Ruth,
Thanks for replying.
I'm not talking about a drop-down menu. I'm referring to the ADDRESS BAR.
I provided the CNN example yesterday.
Here it is again:
When you visit cnn.com, you arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/"
When you click on "WORLD", THE ADDRESS BAR SAYS "http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/"
So far, so good.
Now, if you click on "EUROPE" on the WORLD page/ section, you arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/europe/" --> notice "europe" comes after "WORLD" IN THE ADDRESS BAR.
You don't just arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/europe/". "Europe" is under "WORLD" IN THE ADDRESS BAR because there's some sort of hierarchy. – Jesse, on April 21, 2009 14:43

Peter - it seems like you're describing the process of creating a text link to a page. My site already has many internal links. How will this change what I see in the address bar?
In the "Services" page, when you click "Lawn Care" you arrive at:
http://hillslist.info/lawn-care.php
Instead of that, I would like people to arrive at:
http://hillslist.info/services/lawn-c...
Notice how "lawn-care" comes after "services".
By the way, Yola seems to be down.

Donald,
Thank you for trying to help. Yes, I did look at your site.
I understand how to link pages. Have you looked at my site? (www.hillslist.info)
There are dozens of pages linked to each other.
In the address bar, all of your pages seem to come directly after "....com/"
So, in my mind, they are all 1 page deep. I know you need to click certain links to find most pages, but I'm talking more about the location in the address bar.
As another example of what I'm talking about:
I would want "computer sciences" to look like this (which it does):
THEN, when you visit "theory of computation" (which is "under" computer sciences), I would want it to look like this:
"http://youcanneverbetoosmart.synthasite.com/computer-sciences/theory-of-computation.php" – Jesse, on April 21, 2009 13:46

Guys,
Thank you for your replies but this isn't what I'm trying to do. I read the tutorial and I've also read these replies from you to other users.
I'm trying to place pages underneath other pages, not just inderneath the Index page.
Here's another example.
When you visit cnn.com, you arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/"
When you click on "WORLD", you arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/"
So far, so good.
Now, if you click on "EUROPE" within the WORLD section, you arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/WORLD/europe/" --> notice "europe" comes after "WORLD".
You DON'T just arrive at "http://www.cnn.com/europe/". "Europe" is under "WORLD" because there's some sort of hierarchy.
That's what I'm trying to do.

I'm not sure we're on the same page regarding sub-pages. I know how to create pages and links to those pages. I'm trying to figure out how to organize those pages, on my end, so that there's a hierarchy (so "accountant" is located at "business/accountant.php"). If that's what you mean, then yes, I'd like those directions please. – Jesse, on April 20, 2009 14:16
Jesse replied on April 20, 2009 14:09 to the question "How do I create sub-pages or sub-folders?" in Yola:
Yes, Ruth.
I looked at hexham.info and it looks like this site sub-pages are all directly below ".info/", like my site.
For example, Accountants is linked to under Business.
But the URL is "...info/accountants.php" and not "...info/business/accountants.php". So Accountants is directly under the Index page, not under the Business page.
I'm trying to accomplish the latter.

Jesse asked a question in Yola on April 20, 2009 13:16:
How do I create sub-pages or sub-folders?I'm not sure if sub-pages or sub-folders is the correct name, but here's an example of what I'd like to accomplish:
- One of my sites is "www.hillslist.info".
- A main part of the site is "Services" (hillslist.info/services.php).
- On that page, there are over 50 links to other pages.
- Now, say I click on "Locksmith" (on the Services page). That would take me to "hillslist.info/locksmith.php".
However, I would like it to take me to (a non-existent location called):
"hillslist.info/services/locksmith.php"
Does that make sense? I'd like to organize pages a little deeper in the hierarchy, so that they're not all under "hillslist.info/".
Thanks,
Jesse-
