Thank you everyone for your input. I just switched to WordPress from Blogger and I don't want to switch to another blogging package so quickly. to get the functionality I am looking for, e-commerce, blog, photo gallery, etc I need to find a host as WordPress.org has too many restrictions. I'll be looking elsewhere.

I would like to have individual pages or tabs where I can separate out various users that I follow. For example I would like to have a group for those I chat with about woodworking related topics. Another group for news related topics and so on.

I'd like to see the ability to filter certain individuals that I am following from your suggested users. Such as business and political figures.
