I have added a 2 column layout (the main site layout is 1-column)
on left side .. and it doesn't go beyond that column even when it need to...
I cant increase column width, Any solution for this please?

first of all, hi to all old buddies here. I am back to site building with a good news: I have cleared my first year of medical studies with good marks :)
now my problem: I am using cleanslate template, i have uploaded a banner which is transparent. As i want the background to show up even on the banner space. But unfortunately its not happening.
secondly, in the site builder the background doesn't align itself as it would on a working site. Hence to put the elements on a proper place is a big mess. here you can see the screenshots:


The above haphazard arrangement of elements gave me this proper outcome, this becomes a bit messy :(

To be on a safer side its always good to add a disclaimer and copyright. I am personally building a site having tips on beauty care (skin, hair etc). I have put up a disclaimer. you can have a look if you need a hint to write a disclaimer :)

Add rulers... or something like that to the sitebuilder!

In case we want to place some elements exactly on the same place on every page it becomes a bit difficult/
for example, i often have to try again and again to math the width of my 2 column text to other pages :(
Horizontal and vertical rulers, or a similar reference scale would be handy.
Just a suggestion!
