Tried a simple scrolling marquee on the same page, that does the same. can't get much more basic HTML than that!

OK I'll give it a try, but the paragraph tag exists on the other pages that work. (I have checked). I have logged out, in , out and in again, I have cleared my cahe (FF and IE). I have even rebooted since the original post.

Still the same! (See below for try with no paragraph and code cut from original source). Note the HTML widged bottom left that appears blank, yet when opened has the code within it.

On my odd-html-to-try page (www.rtb2walks.co.uk/odd-html-to-try.php) there is a working print this page button. If I open the HTML widget copy the code, then add a new one above it in the page, nothing shows in the new widget, but the old one still works!!!

HTML Print button not showing on new page. An most of my pages I have a "print this page button" always in the same place, on a new page www.rtb2walks.co.uk/donna-niik.php it won't display. I have cut and pasted from a previous page (chatsworth---1.php) as i always do. Nothing.

I have cur and paste from the faulty page into my test page, again nothing. Tried a different page (taxal.php) as the source same result.

Any ideas.

A comment on the question "Out of control HTML Editor Widget!" in Yola:

OK but that was direct from dynamic drive, no matter where I put the ; it adds ="". No other editor I know does this, and it works fine everywhere but Yola HTML in the text widget, it even works in the YOLA HTML widget without adding the ="".

So it's inconsistant, and I'm sure the guy's at dynamic drive know how to code.

It was all on one line when pasted, but the HTML editor chops it onto several lines.

I think some one is misleading you. I have just republished, and the page I used to test this 8 days ago (it had been deleted a couple of days before that) is still available if I type in the correct URL!

HI.

That sounds as it it will need a database of some sort at the backend as you need to record and update data. If so then you may need to look elsewhere as I don't think Yola supports user backend databases.

I would ask the support people, but I think you may well be out of luck.

I don't think it's connectivity as I could actively browse othe sites and access the help forum without issue. I could also buplish the site quite quickly, it just would not give me the save option, I suspect it did not detect I had changed anything for some reason.

I think the site builder just does not like me!!!!

Now I am at work, same XP Pro laptop as before and it saves fine! I really don't know what to say anymore!!

I can't save any changes now!!

This is starting to get silly, I can edit widgets (Text and HTML) and the save option remains grayed out. Even if I go direct to "publish site" I am not prompted to save. Close the browser and reopen all the changes are lost.

Vista Ultimate SP2 32 bit FF 3.0.15
XP Pro SP3 32 bit IE8

Same on both boxes, is it me or what?

Tried the "Follow me on Twitter" buttons, both on your home page and the Guestbook. Both returned the Twitter not found page:

Nice site, found my self browsing just for the sake of it. That has to be the sign of a good site that is comfortable to use. Really clean appearance, great work. May well return for another browse.

Vista Ultimate 32bit, on this machine. At the moment all the Yola links are back, but during the period of the "missink links" the site was so slow (30 to 40 seconds per page - even the one's without images). Now normal speed, normal appearance.

For a while I thourght it may be my auto updating copyright thingy causing the issue, but that went in about a week ago. It's all a bit of a mystery.
