Hi, maybe I can hook on to this question. When I use a two-column layout, typically, the columns automatically adjust to the fit the sizeof the content.
In a page I just created, though, this doesn't seem to work (I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I can't figure out what it is). Here is the link to the page where it doesn't work - you will see, that both columns have the same width:

And here is a link (same layout) where it works fine: the left column is smaller than the right one:

Thanks fo your help in advance.

Kershnee,
Thanks a lot. I actually spoke in the meantime to Marjie since I was in contact with her regarding another problem I had and she kindly provided me with the answer to my question.
Everything works fine now - there's only one suggestion I would have and this is with respect to point '4.' "Click on Apply Changes".
That button actually is unavailable if you use Internet Explorer - however, it works fine if you use Firefox.
Thanks again for the great support.

Hi, I am not sure if this thread is the right one, but I will give it a shot.
I purchased my first domain (web-address) through Yola a month ago. Today I purchased a second one, with the intension of transferring all the content from domain 1 (old) to domain 2(new).
Could you please give me some advice as to how I do that?
Thank you.

I really don't want to open a new topic for my question and so I will use this existing one for my inquiry (even though, the question is different, yet, this was the closest topic I did find).
I am already a YOLA customer and I bought a domain. My wife would now like to start her own new website (entirely independent from my one).
Should she just register with you guys as a new customer, or does it make more sense (if that's possible at all) that she will be added to my account?
Thank you in advance.-

Well, I'm a new YOLA customer, too. Since two days exactly. After reading through this thread it appears to me that this seems to be one of a rather rare exceptions. And I can live with it. Other than that, I have to say that you guys made it really easy for a dummy like me to get started building a website. Three days ago, I literally had NO clue at all. But the site-builder is very intuitive, that helps a lot. The only problem I have is that I still use IE 6, which gives me some trouble editing text. But I understand that an upgrade to a newer version will fix this.
Speaking of "fixing" good luck with this nasty bug and as far as I am concerned I will call it a day now.
Oh, one more thing: customer support here get 10 out of 10 stars from me. I yesterday posted a question and Emmy provided me wih an answer within 3 minutes. Hats off to you guys.
Good luck.

Emmy:
You gotta be kidding me. I just posted my question and you already (within a matter of minutes) answered it??!! I'm speechless.
What can I say: Thank you so much - yes, I use IE 6 and I can't upgrade since it's my company's laptop. But I will get my personal computer back soon and then everything should work fine.
Thanks again for the quick turnaround. Much appreciated.

Why can't I edit my text like in WORD?Hi: first of all, this is the first attempt of me building a website. And I have to say, yola made it very easy for dummies like me. Thank you very much for that.
Okay, this is probalby a typical newbie question: I have problems moving the cursor within a text/paragraph. I cannot use the up/down arrows on my key board, nor can I just place the cursor anywhere I want. I can only place it at the very beginning or at the end of my text.
I also cant figure out how to mark a single word (or a string of words or a paragraph). Automatically, all the words in the entire test box get highlighted.
Thanks for sharing some insight with me.
Tony.
