You can edit the HTML code belonging your picture, of course. In the site editor click on your picture you want to add the link opening in a new tab/window, then click on the "properties" at your Content Sidebar. You will see an "edit HTML" button, click on it. A small HTML editor window will open. Here you can edit the HTML code of your picture, like this:
<---a href="url of new tab/window/" target="blank">
The url of the new tab/window could be the url of your new page showing the bigger size picture. I hope this helps.:)

A comment on the question "Text link doesn't work!" in Yola:
Yes, I highlighted the link text with my mouse before I started to change the link's URL. ;)
As I already wrote, I could solve the problem in a tricky way finally, so the link is now OK.
I just wanted to call your attention to this case actually, because something didn't work properly in the site builder. – Valika, on July 21, 2009 08:45-

A comment on the question "Text link doesn't work!" in Yola:
Hi Marije,
Thanks for answering. Oh, I intended this to be as a "report a problem".
As I mentioned, I wanted to change an existing link on a page, when this problem occured. I did everything exactly as you described above from point 3 (because I already had the text widget with the text on this page, just wanted to change the link belonging to it) and there was no link at the preview page unfortunately. I could do this kind of change before, so that's why I'm thinking now it's a bug in the site builder. I think it needs to be checked anyway. Thank you! – Valika, on July 20, 2009 11:09
Valika marked one of Thor Muller's replies in Get Satisfaction as useful. Thor Muller replied to the problem "Problem at logging in with Windows Live ID!".
Valika asked a question in Yola on July 20, 2009 07:49:
Text link doesn't work!I wanted to change a text link (as I already did it before several times) and it didn't work! Although I could solve the problem with copy and paste another text link from my page and changing its HTML, but this is not the proper way of changing a link. I assume it's a kind of bug in the site builder. Please, check this! Thanks!

Problem at logging in with Windows Live ID!Unfortunately this problem has come with the new appearance of Get Satisfaction.
I used Windows Live ID for logging in Get Satisfaction. I could login with it now as well, but when I went to the Yola's page suddenly I found that I was not logged in there. It's not good, I cannot post anything at this particular customer supporting community with my existing account. Please, help!

Monique, can you or someone else at Yola help me with giving some more specific information regarding the right settings required? Thanks in advance! – Valika, on June 21, 2009 18:39

Uh, I have a problem with the Flickr Lightbox. It worked perfectly in the site builder, but it doesn't work at my site. The pages having this feature on are loading as totally empty pages. I have to admit, that I publish my site at a different server. I had no problem with this before. Please, help me!

Really interesting question! It is called site building and there are so many similarities between site building and building a house. The most important similarity is that you have to make plans for both before you start working. The more exact your plans are, the more easier and quicker the process will be and the more satisfied you'll be with the result.
First you have to have a goal with your site, this is the base. Then a specific content should be compiled (which could be developed time by time). As a next step you have to find out the page and menu system of it and at last comes the design of the site (template, banner, background, fonts, etc.) While I mentioned the design lastly, I'm aware, how important it is.
You can always make changes, add contents, but the basic planning of your site will determine how you can improve it in the future. Don't forget to add some content (e-mail, guest book, chat, etc.) to give your visitors the possibility to communicate with you, if they wish.
I followed this process more or less. I'm an architect, so maybe this is the way, how I work. Maybe others use different methods.
Anyhow, this is my 2 cents! Happy site building everyone!
