Adding alot of pictures on one page.
Hello, does anyone know how i can make a an html thing to add alot of pictures on one page? i was stacking em but the pictures are so large that it will only let me have 5 to a page. its anoying >.< im trying to add a manga series
(for those of u who dont know what manga is, its like a comic book but only in black and white.)
so now i need to find something that has a next and back buton and i need to be able to build it fast, and easy. any ideas?

Inappropriate?I think when you add another text, or two-column widget, the page just keeps growing. This is one of my shorter pages and others are a triple stack of two-coumn widgets, with text and image widgets inside those.-

The picture, if in a image widget, can be reduced in size using the picknic image editor, or if inserted into a text widget, you can grab the courner to resize, though this will not keep the proportions.
I’m sure you can do it too!

no it doesnt work cause the page wont extend anymore :( -
Looking at you site, I think you should do this:
#1- set a new two-column widget at the top of your page.
#2- set two two-colum widgets inside that, now you have four boxes to place you pictures in. (If this is still too big, add more inside the last.)
#3 move the first four pictures up, one at a time into these boxes, and edit with piknic.
#4- add a new stack of two-column widgets below the first set and now you have more boxes for pictures.
#5- Repeat steps 2 through 4 until all your picture widgets are in stacks.

Maybe you need to save what you have as a backup page, then built your index page again with the steps I told you. Be sure the pictures are in an image widget. -
Inappropriate?Well, what I did in Geocities was add a button at bottom of page to send the user to the next page. Not sure if Yola has a buton for this, as they use the sidebar to navigate, but any picture or text widget will do, just set a link to it for your next page.

It can be messy when your images are really big - they tend to take up a lot of space - you can shrink them by clicking on the red square in the bottom corner and dragging them smaller. You can then add more to one page.
Have you thought of adding your comic using sub-pages? This will stop you having to add it all to one page.
You create a new page and then take it out of the menu so it doesn't show in your navigation. You can then have a link at the bottom of each comic that will lead to the next 'page'.
Here is how to create them:
1. Create the pages you need. When you create the page untick the "show in navigation" box so that these pages won't be automatically added into your main navigation menu.
2. Now that you have your content, you need to link it all up. You can create the links using the text editor widget.
- drag a text widget onto your page and click to edit it.
- Type the text which you want to be the link to the sub-page.
- Highlight the text, and from the text editor tool bar, click the link button (10th from the left next to the image button).
- Click on the "..." button next to "page". It should give you a list of all the pages you have just created.
- Choose the relevant page and click "OK" and you will have a link to this page.
