Inappropriate? To add your own favicon to your site (the little image that appears next to your URL if the browser window):
1) Click on the properties sidebar
2) You will see a "Favourites Icon" field (the second last box from the top) Click on the browse button to the right of the box to browse your desktop for an image to upload.
To see what your favicon will look like, save and preview your page.
Note: you need to do this for every page of your site where you want a favicon to appear.
I’m having fun with favicons!

Inappropriate?Hello,
I found a minor problem with uploading a favicon. I have my image saved as "favicon.ico" It's in the resources folder but I couldn't see it. I had to reload the image again to see the file and then I'll have my favicon. I know for sure that my image exists because it asked me if I want to overwrite the file when I reload the image.
I had to reload the image for every file. I couldn't directly type the file name into favorite icon field. Is there a way to display .ico file in a resources folder?
Thank you
Niddy
PS: I love the new features. Thanks!
I’m very happy ,excited and thankful

Thanks for reporting this. It sounds like the resource manager is filtering out files with that extension. We will work on a fix. -
Still doesn't work for me... Although, instead of fixing this, maybe you could just make it possible to save the favicon in the root directory? -
Inappropriate?Wondering if there's any development on the fix as mentioned? Would be a great thing to have

Inappropriate?I think that was very quick work! I was moving files around and have seen a favicon listed in the resources. Thanks for that

Inappropriate?Could anybody kindly let me know whether favicons original picture required to be of spesific riteria such as "size", as it doesn't work with me?
thank you so much in advance -
Inappropriate?Hi Expat
Sorry to hear you are having difficulties getting your favicons to work.
I have used JPEG, GIF and PNG files to create a favicon. Once you choose your image the system automatically re-sizes the image to fit so no altering the size on your part is necessary.
If you followed Monique's instructions above then I see no reason why you should not have a favicon on your site other than that you may have forgotten to update your site before you looked on the page you added the favicon. I have made that boo boo a few times myself ;)
Happy site building

Inappropriate?Hi Ed
thank you so much for the prompt reply
It has been done, but only visible with firefox, not with Explorer, I wounder why? -
Inappropriate?I wish it was visible in all browsers but sadly it is not... I do believe that they are working on that but I cannot state that for a fact.
I am glad you got yours to work... ;)
