Affiliate decisions!
I am creating a photography based website and I have decided to involve some affiliate marketing on some of my pages. I have currently signed up with click-bank and Amazon (US)/(UK).
This has brought me to a cross roads - should I have American affiliate banners or English. Amozon.com which is American ($) seems to have far more choice for my market (photography) than the UK/European Amazon site (£).
From your expertise and knowledge of the World Wide Web do you think that I would make more revenue if I was to focus on an the American market (having everything in dollars) than I would having everything in sterling (£)
I know it’s a tough one to call but I don’t know who to ask for this kind of info - I am a UK citizen by the way. The impression I get is that the British are still too weary about the web; all I hear is how unsafe it is. Would I be right in thinking that the people of America are far more involved when it comes to ecommerce and so I should concentrate my efforts towards them. Is this possible living in the UK?
Any points would be gratefully accepted
Kind regards
Stewart Scott

Inappropriate?Hi Stewart
I can't comment on this with very much authority, although I suspect your hunch about the American market having more potential is correct.
Hopefully some other forum members with more experience on this issue can join in.
