Inappropriate?Hi John,
I really like the style of your site, you have customised it really well.
I would flip the content on the home page - i.e. 'what we do' etc to the top.
I would lose the .tk domain - horrible things in my opinion, either buy a real TLD or use a Yola subdomain. I suppose you have noticed you can not link a sub page of your site, this and a bunch of other reasons is why i suggest this.
As its a image site i would try to incoporate more image trickery, I have just made a image gallery on a site using 'in site' code - check it out http://www.eclipsebar.info/photo
There are a bunch of cool image tricks here http://yolacodes.yolasite.com/slidesh... -- you can take the code from the public site builder.
Really great start to the site - 1 of the better i have seen.
All the best - Lee.

Inappropriate?Hi John
You have done a great job with setting up your site. It presents as being professional looking and easy to navigate and understand. I do have a few suggestions. Bear in mind though, that this site is a product of your vision. Please feel free to use or not use these suggestions. You have to do what you feel is best for you.
1. Homepage
- I would agree with Lee's suggestion of bringing up your "What we do", "How we're different" & "How we got started" to the top of your page. This is a great way to introduce your site.
- I notice your wee little Terms of Use on the left-hand side. I would suggest either placing the link on your menu bar so it's accessible at all times.
- I really love those buttons you made which is under your "How we got started". I'm wondering if these buttons would have more of a visual impact if they were up at the top. I would even go as far as removing the menu bar and creating a custom menu using these buttons instead! You can hide the menu bar by going to "edit menu" and removing all the pages from "in menu" to "out menu". You will still have a thin grey box - so you'll have to determine if you like this look or not.
2. Blog
- I noticed that your images on your blog page take a little time to load up because they are still a bit large. However, you have scaled them down to fit in your blog. One of your images is 800px × 530px (scaled to 325px × 215px). I would suggest resizing your images to their true size.
3. Tutorial
- A great idea! As your pages get longer, I would suggest creating anchor tags to your page where the user can simply click on a link "return to top" after reaching a certain point on the page. Here's a great tutorial on how to accomplish this if this is something that interests you: http://tipsandtricks.synthasite.com/A...
Overall, you have done a really good job! It was a pleasure to see something put together so well.
Please feel free to ask for clarification if needed. =) -
