can I allow others to edit a file and save it on my website?

I uploaded a excel file on my site and I want to give users the ability to edit it and save it so that we can keep it updated.

Hi Bobby,

Unfortunately this would not be possible. When a person clicks on the Excel file it will open on their computer as long as they have the Excel program. But, if the person were to edit it, they could save it to their machine, but could not save the edited version to the site.

Your other option would be to allow people to download the document, edit it, then send it to you so you could replace the old one with the new one, although I am not sure if that would work for you.
