Can I Make A Proxy Server Avoidance Website?
Is it possible to make a proxy server avoidance website with Synthasite? Here are some examples: www.ctunnel.com, www.swanbike.com. If so, how would I. Is it a speacial HTML that I have to use? Can I copy the HTML from an already existing proxy server avoidance website?

Inappropriate?Hi Derrick,
Unfortunately this is not possible. Creating a proxy server requires some form of scripting language (eg php) as a minimum and we don't allow this. -
Inappropriate? You don't "allow this" or the feature hasn't been made yet? And, if I download and host my site myself OR buy a domain, can it be done? For the record, what is PHP (pardon me for not knowing better).

Inappropriate?Hi Derrik,
PHP is a form of scripting language that you would need to write to create a proxy server avoidance website and it is not possible to upload PHP to a website built with SynthaSite. This does not change if you have bought a domain name, as it is a functionality of our site builder.

Inappropriate?my questions not really on topic but my school has every proxy i know blcked. Is there a way around blocks without proxys
-
Hi Joe - Unfortunately we won't be able to assist you on this. -
Inappropriate?To joe,
Yes. Most proxy servers have a 'back door' that most schools don't know about. I find Ctunnel's to be the most reliable: https://www.ctunnel.com. Note the 's' in 'https'. That's the 'back door'. It will ask you for every page that you open someting like 'This page contains secure and nonsecure items...' I usually click 'Yes', but it doesn't matter. When you first open ctunnel with that URL, it will probably say that your not authorized to viw the web paghe or that it may harm your computer or something like that. Just continue with the website. If it's still blocked, refresh the page. That should work. If it doesn't, like I said, most proxy servers have back doors. Search the web for other ones.
To this topic,
I realize that I can't build a proxy server and put it into a synthasite website, but I've found that I can use the 'edit with Notepad' function of my web browser to get the HTML of that particular proxy server. With that, I'm able to modify the hTML to remove most of the advertisements. Thanks for replies. -
