Can Yola Make Free Email Domains?
hi!
i have seen this all over Get Satisfaction,
my domain is
sports-info.yolasite.com
can yola make a feature so that i can have an email address like
support@sports-info.yolasite.com?
any emails sent to domain are re directed to an email adress,,
like the dot.tk email service.

I don't believe this is a good idea, esp for those with long address. I think it would be easier to use a free web service, or you could use Apps (google) for a purchased domain.
Also i think this may put a lot of pressure on staff...
If this idea is going to be taken into consideration i think its best when Yola is out of BETA testing, and has its foundations4 Comments

If your site is a just for fun site then this does not matter...If you plan to be doing business it is a very big deal to have branded e mail attached to your domain and NOT yourname@fre eservice.com as your mail client.

Thats what most users will have problems with, as i stated above... I don't think the subdomain emails wil exist

Inappropriate?Perhaps, a forwarding address @ yola_hosted_site is all that is necessary.
There are services that allow you to use any from address as long as you verify it.
Or you can always set up a meil client like Outlook or Outlook Express or Thunderbird as long as you have an outgoing pop server to use. -

Inappropriate?Good idea but I think there's not much real benefit to users when it's so easy to set up your own email with Google Apps or any other hosting provider. Another hosting provider can also provide more features like spam filtering, mobile access, etc.
