is it possible to make the download thing bigger? cause i need to make a file that is over 950mb downloadable from my site, and id rather have it download straight from my site instead of having a link to another site to download it. so can you guys make it bigger please? :(

How about zipping the file then putting it on your site to download, it would reduce the download time greatly.

no its not download time theres a limit per file, 15MB limit per file. but i need to upload a file tha that is about 1021.62 MB. -

We currently have a limit of 15MB per file. If you have a individual file that is larger than 15MB you could use a free file hosting service such as: Boxnet (http://www.box.net/) or Mediafire (http://www.mediafire.com/) and link to it from your site.

If you want more flexibility and more control over your files, you could also try out Amazon's S3 service. It's extremely flexible for hosting large files and is also ridiculously cheap. You can link directly to your file from within your website and get statistics about how many times the files were downloaded etc etc. You also get a firefox plugin that allows you to manage your files on the fly.
