getting help advertising my site

Hello Emmy, thanks for your prompt reply. I am not looking exactly for any advertisement service in particular. I am a college student and was writing a report in regards to getting a web site built with Yola. In the process of doing my research I came across the Promotion, SEO, Analyzing Traffic and Advertisement link on Yola's get help page. I could not get this link to work. So I decided to post a question on the advertisement subject. Well It seems to me that even if that link is not working properly. You could get help from someone at Yola quickly. That is great! I have for long wanted to start my own web site. Perhaps in the future I will have a question in regards to some advertisement. Thank you once again.

You should produce a Press Release at PRLOG.ORG. I used them for my http://simplyeighties.com website and it worked pretty well! Also try social networking. I have a simplyeighties page at Myspace and Youtube. (type in simplyeighties if you want to have a look!). Also try Yahoo Groups. A group can have thousands of members, so by mentioning your site to a group you have potentially thousands of visitors!
