Getting Started. Please Help !!
I'm new to website building. My aim is to build a site with a professional name (cars.com not cars.synthasite.com) with Synthasite, but I don't know from where to start. What is sub - domain, name server .......It would be really grateful If someone guides me just getting started ( I can manage rest )

An example of a subdomain name is http://cars.synthasite.com/ this is a URL which people will use to find your site. SynthaSite will give you this domain name for free.
An example of a domain name is www.cars.com - this is something that you need to purchase.
Currently you need to buy a domain from a third party domain name registrar such as GoDaddy.com or Register.com, however, in the near future this is a service that we will be offering.
Here are the initial steps after you log in:
1. Click on "Create New Site". You will be prompted to give your site a name.
2. Select a style. Your site will be given a default style, but you can change it by clicking on the "change style" button in the tab at the top of your screen.
3. Drag and drop widgets from the side bar on the right of your page and start editing them to add content such as text, images and videos.
4. If you want to make a new page click on "New Page" (the third button from the right above your page).
5. When you are happy with your site click "Publish" and you will be taken through the steps to publish your site. Your site will be live as soon as you publish it.
6. If you want to make changes to your site after you have published it, it's very easy to do, just log in to your account and open your site. You will be able to make all the changes you want. Don't forget to republish your site at the end of each session.
