Inappropriate?Hi GreenField,
You can add a Google search box by using the Widgetbox Gallery:
1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page
2. A dialogue box will open, click on the Google category
3. Click on 'Google Search'
4. Edit your settings (to add your site URL and your logo)
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget!
You can also add a Google search box with Google Gadgets:
1. Open the widgets folder - in the side bar at the right of your screen
2. Drag and drop a Google Gadgets widget onto your page
3. A dialogue box will open up with a link to Google Gadgets. Click on this link.
4. You will then be taken to Google Gadgets, find a search box, customize it as desired and copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the dialogue box in SynthaSite.
That's it, you will have a search box embedded into your site. -
Inappropriate?Hello Kershenee,
Thanks for the quick reply. Very impressive user support from Synthasite.
I know how to get a search box in the page body, using similar step as you said. However what I really need is to put the search box in the header of the page. Is it possible?
