Help, need help with my domain?
When I type my registered domain address into the address bar, it says that it can't be found. My domain is registered through godaddy and I registered it earlier today. I edited my settings for my domain so that it has synthasite's id (208.75.208.172) and it knows wherre to be directed, but I'm still having problems finding my website. I'm very new at this and don't know what to do next.

Annoyer707 is correct. If your site isn't showing up after 48 hours, please tell us what your domain name is and we will look into it for you.
Don't worry - we will get this fixed! You seem to have done everything right so far. -

Hi sassysandy - you can send an email to us (support@synthasite.com) with the name you used when you signed up. Also, add any possible email addresses you used so that we can search for them. -

You get a domain name when you publish your site. To publish your site, click on the big yellow "Publish My Site" button at the top of the page. You will be given three choices for publishing your site:
1. Publish your site using a free SynthaSite subdomain name. In this case your website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.synthasite.com
* To publish to a free subdomain name: type the domain name you would like to use into the box provided.
* Then, if it is available, click "Next". Your site will then be published and will be available immediately on the internet.
2. You can buy a custom (or dotcom) domain name from SynthaSite. The cost is US$14.95 per year, and includes automatic setup and hosting. In this case, your website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.net - the choice is yours.
* To purchase a custom domain name through SynthaSite, select the "Buy my own domain" option.
* Type in the domain name that you wish to buy. A quick search will be done, letting you know if this domain name is available or not. Then click on "Next".
* Please fill in the form required (we need this information in order to register the domain name on your behalf), and you will be taken through the steps to purchase your own domain name.
* Please note, it can take up to 48 hours for domain names to be transferred and your site to be up and running.
3. You can publish your site using a domain name that you already own.

We recently changed our domain price to $19.95/year to account for an increase in the prices charged to us and to take into account the features we're adding for custom domains. We've also added the ability to register domains for up to 10 years, and you can save 20% off of the yearly price if you do so.

Inappropriate?I have two domains pointed to Synthatsite (aka Yola)...One is on godaddy and the other register.com....Both worked within minutes of pointing them to Synthatsite....Maybe I just got lucky.

Inappropriate?i registered a domain at godaddy also. how do i point my domain at godaddy to synthasite? is there a tutorial? I am mad at myself for not doing more research on the domain names offered by synthasite. If I would have read about the ease of synthasite I would have not registered with godaddy. by the way: i absolutely love synthasite!!!1 Comment Add a comment
