how do i publish my synthasite site on internet

To publish your site, click on the big yellow "Publish My Site" button at the top of the page. You will be given three choices for publishing your site:

1. Publish your site using a free SynthaSite subdomain name. In this case your website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.synthasite.com

2. You can buy a custom (or dotcom) domain name from SynthaSite. The cost is US$14.95 per year, and includes automatic setup and hosting. In this case, your website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.net - the choice is yours.

3. You can publish your site using a domain name that you already own.

To publish to a free subdomain name: type the domain name you would like to use into the box provided. Then, if it is available, click "Next". Your site will then be published and will be available immediately on the internet.

To purchase a custom domain name through SynthaSite, select the "Buy my own domain" option. Type in the domain name that you wish to buy. A quick search will be done, letting you know if this domain name is available or not.

Then click on "Next".

Please fill in the form required (we need this information in order to register the domain name on your behalf), and you will be taken through the steps to purchase your own domain name.

Please note, it can take up to 48 hours for domain names to be transferred and your site to be up and running.
