how do i remove the synthasite links at the bottom of every page?
i really love synthasite but i would like to remove the free synthasite links that appear at the bottom of every page. is this possible while hosting at synthasite or do i need to save the site and upload it to another host?

Inappropriate?I understand that to some these little added lines of text may look somewhat out of place on your website but I rather look at it as a thank you to Synthasite for providing a user friendly service and feel that although it is in its simplest form still advertising and to put it plainly... If it wasn't there then our free sites would not be as well. Some free web builder/hosting sites have an ungodly amount of advertising that Synthasite simply does not have.

The inclusion of the link to SynthaSite in the footer is part of the terms of service you agree when you sign up. ed is right, we do not place banner ads on your site, or charge you for our service. However, we do want people to know about our service and this discreet link in the footer is all we ask of you in return for the opportunity to build and publish a site for free. We hope you can understand our position on this.

Inappropriate?Please don't get me wrong. I **love** synthasite and I understand their position. It's just that for some sites, it's just a little inappropriate.
I, for one, would be willing to pay a small fee for hosting without the "free site" links.
Of course, ymmv.

One idea would be to offer this as a premium feature - but we still need to discuss the implications and how we would implement this option. Inappropriate?I understand your concern, but as Marije indicated, it is but a small concession for SynthaSite to host for free. Might I add that I am in the process of building my new site and I have been very impressed with your services thus far.
