How do I transfer my domain name?
Hi
I already own a domain and it is up for renewal. I would like to renew my domain name independently or with Yola instead of my present company, how can I do this?

Inappropriate?Hello Forest,
If you would like to transfer your domain name to Yola you can email us at support@yola.com and we can give you instructions for getting this started.
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hi, I am not sure if this thread is the right one, but I will give it a shot.
I purchased my first domain (web-address) through Yola a month ago. Today I purchased a second one, with the intension of transferring all the content from domain 1 (old) to domain 2(new).
Could you please give me some advice as to how I do that?
Thank you. -
Inappropriate?Hi Tony,
You can easily assign (publish) a domain to a different site by accessing the Advanced Domain Settings. Here's how:-
1. Login to your account on Yola.
2. On the My Sites page, scroll to the bottom and check the box next to "Enable Advanced Domain Settings".
3. Scroll back up to the top and click on the link "Advanced Domain Settings".
4. A new page will open, select the site you would like your domain to be published to and click on "Click to apply changes".
You can assign more than one domain to a site. By assigning a domain as "Primary Domain", this will be the canonical (primary) domain and the one the other domains will redirect to.

Inappropriate?Kershnee,
Thanks a lot. I actually spoke in the meantime to Marjie since I was in contact with her regarding another problem I had and she kindly provided me with the answer to my question.
Everything works fine now - there's only one suggestion I would have and this is with respect to point '4.' "Click on Apply Changes".
That button actually is unavailable if you use Internet Explorer - however, it works fine if you use Firefox.
Thanks again for the great support.

Thanks Dieter - this bug has been logged to be fixed and hopefully it won't take long until that's done :)
