Can you tell me if password protection for your site will satisfy your requirements, or if you also need a feature where people can sign up for an account on your site?
Sorry about the wait, but we have so many new features we are trying to build right now and we have to be sure that we deliver them in the best, most logical order to make sure our development goes smoothly for all our users. However, I am sure the fact that you need this feature urgently will get the company's attention!

We will probably add password protection for sites first. The ability for people to sign up for account from your site will be tackled as a separate feature to follow at a later stage.

To enter info:
1) Drag and drop a text widget onto your page from the sidebar on the right.
2) Click inside the green text box and start typing or paste your text
To add a photo
1) Drag and drop an image widget onto your page from the sidebar on the right or click "insert image" on the text editing toolbar to add an image inside a text box.
2) A file manager will open up that will allow you to browse your desktop for an image to upload. When you are done, highlight the image and click "ok" and it will be added to your page.

Thanks for the suggestion bri. Just a minor point: our old tutorial video has been taken down because it got rather out of date. However we have 5 great new ones coming very soon that will really help new users learn SynthaSite in minutes! I am very excited about these new videos, so keep a look out for them. They will be there any day now!

Inappropriate?I have a few questions, first off, did you maek the feature for people to sign up on your website? Yes or no, and how do it if yes.
Do you have a feature where people can blog on the same page, with you, like post comments and etc. I need that 'cause people have to e-mail me every single thing. :(
Do you also have a feature where people can search your site for stuff, like a search engine for your website.
Also, what's an HTML? I'm quite confused and no one has given me a proper answer yet, so any help would be appreciated.
Also what's a form? Or forum, I'm not sure which. There are many words that confuse me, so please help me.
Also any list of new features coming would be nice to know. Thanks alot, and sorry for so many questions. Very curious, I like to make sites.

People cannot write posts on your blog, but they can add comments. Right now SynthaSite does not have it's own comments widget, but we have integrated with a third party service, Disqus (pronounced "discuss"). You can use this service if you want to enable comments on your blog.
Here is how to do this:
1. To get the comment code, your site needs to be published
2. Click on the "Blog Manager" button
3. Click on the "Settings" tab
4. Click on the "Disqus" logo to visit www.disqus.com and register for an account
5. Submit your URL on Disqus
6. Click on Admin --> Tools
7. Copy the "generic code #1"
8. Paste the code back in the dialogue box (Settings) on SynthaSite
9. Preview your page to view the comment feature
You only need to add the code to your site once, and the comment feature will be enabled for all of your posts. You can then login to your Disqus account to moderate any comments.
Note that the comment box will only show up on your published site when you click on one of your post titles and scroll to the bottom of the post. For more details, please see our blogging tutorial here: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/b...
At the moment we do not have site specific search engines. This is something we would still need to work on.

A form is something that you would add to your site if you wanted to collect information from your visitors for some reason.
A forum is a place where people can leave each other messages, Get Satisfaction is an example of a forum.
If you want to receive notification of new features the best way is to subscribe to our newsletter and our blog. If you did not check the box asking to receive tips and updates, you can subscribe by clicking on the "edit" link and subscribing from your account info page. That way you will always know what is new, and when your requested features become available.
