How to link to my Wiki via my webpage.
I have no idea what I'm doing. How would I connect to a Wiki via my webpage? I want a Wiki set up for my students. I've set up an account with PBworks.

Inappropriate?I don't believe you can with yola. Yola uses html as it's primary markup language and I think you need server-side scripting to use wiki. That's my guess. I've been doing some research on using wiki trying to see if I can and came to the conclusion I need my own servers.

Inappropriate?I can't really tell unless I join PBworks but look there.....Look for things that may say link to other sites...applications...embed codes....If they have such things then you could use the HTML widget on Yola to connect the two.

Inappropriate?Hi Julie,
I am not familiar with PBworks, but I did look around their website a bit. The do have a help form that you can fill out and a support team to contact here: PBworks Help.
What I would suggest is that you tell them you have a website with Yola and it is possible for you to add snippets of javascript or HTML code to your website, and do they have any embed code or more information for you on a way to incorporate your Wiki into an outside website.
The other option, if the above is not possible, would be to create a text or menu link to your Wiki, granted, this would take your site visitor away from your Yola site, but it might be the only option.
Let us know what you find out and we can try to help.
