Inappropriate?I didn't do it myself, but I have an idea, how it could be made, because I created something similar on my site. You have to make a banner image and upload it to the file manager, then put it into an image widget on your index page, link it to your existing index page, which has to be saved first as a different page with a different name. To make the built-in menu disappearing from your "enter page" you have to use the "edit menu" function make all your pages not shown in the built-in menu. The result of this step that the existing menu will disappear from all your pages.Therefore you have to make a custom menu and put it to each site you want. I used for my website recently one of the free options of flashvortex.com, but there are many other possibilities. Let me know, if it is not clear for you, I'll try to give you a more detailed explanation.:)

Inappropriate?I think you would be better off the set you "banner" as a central image of your index page, but the way yola is set up, you will have the menu there also. If you made the banner as another page, then you link url would have to be http:(//) my site/banner. com; which will not be so well found with a search engine. Or, You can add a link to the banner image as index, and not list it on menu, then the second page will become home page as the banner will not be accessed through the menu again.
