I want to control my domain bought from yola.
I bought a domain from yola so it forwards my site made from yola.
However, I want to change this. I want the set my nameserver and etc.
Is my domain only going to work with yola?

Inappropriate?There are two options when you want to move your domain away from Yola:
Option 1: You can edit your DNS settings so that your domain points to your new provider. Depending on the host you're moving to, it would either be editing nameservers or creating an A Record. This means that you will still get a renewal reminder from us 11 months after purchase. If you choose this option, please view this tutorial: DNS for your domain purchased from Yola.
Option 2: We can release your domain so that it is transferred to another domain registrar completely. You will receive an email with a code from us that you can give to your new domain registrar. To unlock and transfer your domain, follow these steps:
1. Login to your Yola account and make sure you are on the "My Sites" page
2. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tick the box next to "Enable advanced domain settings"
3. You will be scrolled back up to the top, click on "Advanced domain settings".
4. If you would like to transfer your domain to another domain registrar, untick the button next to "Lock this domain name". An email will be sent to you and it will contain the transfer code you will need to give to your new domain registrar in order to complete the transfer. The email will be from our domain registration partner. Please remember to check the junkmail folder of your email in the event that it is sent there.

Inappropriate?Just to add to Sanja's reply - Changing your domain settings can result in your site no longer working. Please be sure you understand the consequence of the changes you are making. If anything is unclear, please contact us for support before making your changes.
