Lets keep YOLA competitors from appearing in adsense ads placed in our sites.

One thing I do not like about Adsense and that bothered me greatly was that wherever I placed an ad on a page with any mention of YOLA or website building that ads were generated by Adsense which were of YOL's competitors. I did not like this as on pages I had wished to showcase YOLA.

I populated a list of 50 or more of those companies that I saw come up frequently so that others can include them to your do not show list on Adsense. I don't know about you all but I would rather my site be free of any competition of a fine company like YOLA.

Lets keep the ads on our sites free of anything that may be related to other website builder sites.

To include the list to your Adsense blocked URL list please follow these steps:

1) Sign into your Adsense account https://www.google.com/adsense/home
2) Click the "Adsense setup) tab
3) Click the "Competitive ad filter" in the blue menu bar
4) Go to http://www.theothersites.synthasite.com/ and copy the list of URLs
5) Return to your "Competitive ad filter page and paste the list in the "AdSense for Content" tab filter text box
6) Click "Save changes"

If you have a Google search bar on your website you may also wish to include the same list in your "AdSense for Search" filter text box.
