To add a link to a page is really simple. Highlight the text you want to link from, then click on the "Insert Link" button in the toolbar. It looks a bit like a looped rope, and when your mouse hovers over it the tooltip displays the "Insert Link" text.
The Link Editor will open up and allow you to select the page you want to link to.

Yes, this works very well. Thank you. However, I have changed my mind about the url I want to link to, and now I can't figure out how to change it. -

Is it to a page, an external URL, a file or an email?
If it is a URL, what is the URL you are trying to use?

To check that your link is working, save your page and preview it! You can test the link in preview mode, but not in editing mode. This is a misunderstanding many people have, so this tip might clear things up for you. -

Inappropriate?Please don't feel stupid - once you know where it is, it is easy to find, but it can be hard to spot initially! You need to click on a text widget on your page - this causes the text editing toolbar to show up. You will then find the "insert link" icon, which is roughly in the middle of the toolbar.
