Looking for feedback on my site
Hi everyone,
I am a keen amateur photographer and enjoy taking pictures of a wide range of subjects.
I make my photos into cards, prints and posters and sell these to raise money for charity. I built my website to showcase my work and enable people to buy it.

Inappropriate?hi took a quick look and you did a wonderful job.
From the quick look on http://www.annewitton.org.uk/cards-an... you have a date of setting up on 1 April, 2009 and on home page you have last updated on 3/6/09 as a suggestion only you may want to remove the one on the home page of updating. I've tried "last updated" and missed them half the time so I just removed them all together.

You have done a wonderful job of creating your website. It's very thorough, easy to navigate and presents well. You have a flair for writing and it is very touching to see you being so real and honest. I pray that God will continue to use you to glorify Him! =)
There were just a couple of minor things that caught my eye:
1. Blog Page
On all your other pages, everything has been so nicely contained inside the "box". However, on this blog page, it would seem that your content pushes out of the box. You can see the right-hand side line running into some of the words. I think this problem occurred because of your images. They're too big in the box. You'll have to make them smaller.
Or... you may need to pick a different template that offers a wider span. The template you chose is quite narrow.
2. One last thing, on your contact page, I would just move the one line that I highlighted to line up with the others.

Hi littleus.
Thanks so much for taking the time to give me some really helpful feedback. I agree with your point about the blog. I hasn't realised when I picked the template that it wasn't really suitable for a blog and as my site is quite big it will be a bit of a hassle changing it. I'll try re-sizing the images and see if that helps.
I did have trouble with the contact form as well, but I think I've sorted that out (in a very non-techical way involving making the first sentence a bit longer!!)

Inappropriate?Hello Anne, I really enjoyed your site. You've done a great job and I enjoyed reading your story. My only comment would be that the overall design does not communicate the warmth seen in your photo. Perhaps playing a bit with the color scheme would let this shine through. Best wishes,

Thanks for taking the time to look at my site. I do see what you mean about the colour scheme. I can't really change the template as it would be loads of hassle on a site with this many pages. I'll have a think about changing the banner at the top though.

I just wanted to make a little comment Anne regarding the template. I don't know if you realized this.. but if you change your template, it is applied to all your pages automatically. I don't know if that makes it easier or not for you.

Ah ha! I don't think I realised that! (Or at least, I'd forgotten since I experimented with templates when I first started using Yola). I guess I'm a bit hesitant because I like where the menu is on my current template, so I might just leave it be for the moment and change it if I'm feeling adventerous later on! :-)
