My sound file locking up on upload when it shows 100% completed?
I read the topic about adding music to the website and allowing it to be hidden. Now that I have my file ready, I'm trying to upload it and it the status bar maxes out like it's finished, but it never changes to show that it was successful. It's only 2MB and as I understand it, I'm allowed 5MB. How can I get this in my file manager?

Inappropriate?Hello Robyn,
I'm sorry you are having this problem. The maximum single file upload is 15MB so the size should not be an issue. What is the extension on the audio file? Can you try a few things for me and then try to upload the audio file again.
1. Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: Clear your browser's cache.
2. Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: Accept cookies.
3. Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer). We would suggest using the Firefox browser as this browser seems to work best in the Yola environment. It is a free download if you would like to give it a try: Download Firefox.
Let us know if you are still having trouble uploading the file.

Emmy,
Thanks for responding. I am using Mp3 file. Before I read this email I actually cleared the cookies and cache, and rebooted the machine. I went to try again and so far it's still the same thing. I will check my privacy settings, but i'm pretty sure they are accepting anything from Yola just fine. I haven't had a problem before, but it never hurts to check. Just for information sake I am using FireFox and love it! Thank you for the advice there.
Robyn ;)
PS. (I accidentally replied to the email the second time before I realized it was a NO REPLY. Anyway, I was trying to send a screen shot in case I was not explaining myself correctly. -
Hi Robyn - you could also check that you are have an updated version of Flash (http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewC...). Otherwise, please could you send an email to support@yola.com with the mp3 file so that we can try and find out why this is happening and help you to upload your file for you. Feel free to mark the email to my attention. -
Oh, one other thing - you can also check that the version of Firefox you are using is an up-to-date version. -
Inappropriate?Everything is up to date and I was still having this problem. For some reason it worked the next day. I don't know what kind of freak thing happened, but it just went in. Thanks so much for all your help and ideas. I will remember them for the next time. You guys/gals are wonderful to work with. :)
I’m completely satisfied!
