Need for speed!
Hi! I'm in Johannesburg and am trying to create my website. But the pages are really slow to download. Anyone else having this problem or have tips for me?

Thank you for your post - are you referring to use the Yola site builder or loading your published site? If possible, could you post your site's URL so that we can take a look.
There are a few things that can contribute to a page loading slowly:
1. Images that are of a high resolution and file size. This link has more info: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/...
2. If you're copying and pasting from a word processor like MS Word - it copies all the additional formatting code and we recommend that you first paste the text into something like Notepad so that it is stripped before copying it again.
3. How much content is on your page? If your page is very long with loads of text, pictures and other stuff, it will take a long time to load. Rather split up your pages into subpages for easy navigating and reading. More info on this link: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/creatin....

The above applies in the site builder too :) Are you on a broadband/DSL connection? Could you also make sure you are using an up-to-date version of your browser or try a different browser?
