Please Help. Lines to far apart!

*taking a deep breath*

k, here I go. I am having problems with lines. When ever I make a new page and trying to write I get this..

Example:

Name:

Date:

I get them so far apart, I tried shift+enter and BR, but nothing seems to be working. When I used both methods they did not look so far apart, but is still noticeable from the other ones. Is there away that I can fix this.

Please Help me, I want to put new links, but when ever I write more they are far apart and they look weird.
