The recent update in yola of its preview feature is proving a nuisance. The previous feature of the preview, that opened in a new window was quite good as it didn't affected my website editing page.
In the new feature the same tab loads for the preview and for a moment I forget what and where i was editing the page & there is a pseudo-fear of loosing my canvas!!!
Hope Yola reverts to the previous preview feature.

I'm sorry to hear that you think the new Preview feature does not work for you. Clicking on Preview should not affect your site in the Sitebuilder and you shouldn't lose anything you've done in the Sitebuilder. If you are, could you give us more details on the steps you're taking and what happens? We'd like to be sure that you're not experiencing a bug. -

Using firefox and opening in a new tab doesn't work, it just opens the yola sitebuilder in a new tab, not the preview.-
Can you please let us know what version of Firefox you are using? We'll look into this. Thanks!

I am not able to see the preview page either when I try the steps. I will need to find out more information about this and whether or not, it is really possible to do this.

It's probably because the preview is now javascript generated. Trying to open a javascript link in a new window never works correctly..

Hi Mike - you can check your Javascript settings on this link: http://www.google.com/support/websear.... Alternatively, could you post your site's URL and let us know if it happens on a specific page (or all pages) so that we can take a look. It may also help to update Firefox to the most recent version, if you could give that a try?

I've upgraded to 3.6.9. Javascript is enabled. Happens on any page I try to preview in a new tab or window in. I should mention that my site is not published to a domain yet (it's not ready to be) But when I right click on the preview link, and click on open in new tab, or window, all it does is open a new copy of the sitebuilder interface in that new tab or window, and it always goes to the home page too. The other official rep said they weren't able to see the preview page either so it's not just me.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease is it possible to bring the old preview back? This preview makes it an absolute nightmare to edit my site. I miss being able to have the preview open at ALL times in a separate browser so I could just refresh after saving.

I've found a way around the annoying java popup preview!!! Click the preview button, after the page pops up, move your mouse over the menu item that you're on and copy the link location, or shortcut if you use IE. Then paste that URL in a new browser window and you'll have your preview like it used to be -

1. Right click on the "Preview" link.
2. Select "Open link in new tab."
right clicking on preview and opening in new tab doesn't work !!!
