scripting nightmares
Hello
I have a couple of issues tonight that are getting me down...
when I open the html box most times the cursor does not show up and I have to refresh the sitebuilder before it works?
secondly the html is just one loooooooooong line it isnt up and down like most html scripts are when u view them.
your help and solutions would be greatly appreciated.

im using the scripts on the gadgets, its the html editor that yola supplies. I use IE 8 and with the freezing of the html box I switched to firefox3. thanks.

Can you tell us what script it is that you are copying into the HTML widget, what is the script supposed to do? If you can tell me where you are getting the script in the Site Builder I would like to test it to see how it behaves.

when I open the html gadget you provide, 1. the cursor doesnt appear?
and 2. the script is in one long line, its not a script I am trying to add, its when I go to edit a script, usually it is in lots of lines from top to bottom, this shows only 1 line,lol hope u understand. thanks

Inappropriate?LOL mate it isnt a script, hehe the scripts I already have on the site,when I open the html widget to edit it, the script appears in ONE long line instead of up and down, also the cursor does not appear, sometimes I have to reload yola site builder before the cursor appears, hope u understand me..

Ok, clear your cookies and browser cache to see if that fixes it.
Here's a tutorial on how to do this:
1.Go to Tools and select Options.
2. Go to the Privacy tab, and click Settings... (in the blue box in the image).
3. Then select 'cache' and 'cookies', and click 'ok'.

In addition to the suggestion provided above, I am wondering if you have copied and pasted text from an external source? If so, this may the reason why you're having trouble as it may have inherent formatting that could be breaking the functionality of your site.
What you need to do is copy your text into Notepad (found in your start menu in the accessories folder). This will strip away any coding. Then copy text and paste into a new text widget. Please delete the old one.

off course, thanks, its billmanson.yolasite.com you could be right, when I copy a script from dynamics I dont copy it to notepad first, excellent point, cheers.
