Site Map Errors

I have been getting site map errors for a few days now on all my sites that have been fine in the past....Maybe along with the change in verification Google has done something with site maps.

    Hi John
This could be related. Could you update your site and let us know if the error message persists on Google Webmaster's side.

A few people have reported this and we are still investigating if it is on our side or theirs.

I have done all that over the last few days to make sure it wasn't just one of their once in awhile things that happens....A couple of sites of mine I have not added anything to them in weeks and they are getting the error also.I did have one other thought and it is a shot in the dark....Most of us use DISQUS for blog comments and they recently made changes that connect to our pages.

    Hello Amber

I have removed your post as we don't recommend sharing personal information such as your email address.

I can see that you're really wanting a top-level domain with us! :)

We have a tutorial that contains the steps to purchasing a domain from Yola: Buying your own domain from Yola.

These are the steps to purchasing your domain with Yola:

    1. Click on the yellow "Publish my Site" button on the toolbar.
    2. Select the "Choose Professional" option.
    3. Type in the domain name that you wish to buy. A quick search will be done, letting you know if this domain name is available or not.
    4. Click on "Next".

If your site is already published to a subdomain, you can easily purchase your own domain when you click on "Update my Site". The subdomain will automatically redirect to your new address (www.example.com). This way, you won't lose the value of any links or visitors that only know your old location and they'll see your new domain. Alternatively you can choose to upgrade to a Professional domain from the My Sites page after logging in on Yola.com.

During your domain purchase, you can choose your options. You can pay for more than one year and you also have the option to pay for domain privacy so that your details are not publicly available.

Please fill in the form required (we need this information in order to register the domain name on your behalf), you will then be taken through the steps to purchase your own domain name.

Please note, it can take up to 48 hours for domain names to be transferred and your site to be up and running (however, it's often a lot quicker than that).

When you choose to buy your domain from us, you can pay with a credit card or PayPal. If you don't have access to a credit card, you can credit your PayPal account by transferring money from your bank account to your PayPal account, see this link for more information.

I hope this information is helpful to you. If you have any further questions, please let me know.
