Site taking longer time than usual to publish
I have a couple sites on yola/synthasite... my site http://freemusiclistening.synthasite.com takes a long time to publish (which I do frequently) but this is causing a lot of lost time. My other sites DO NOT take as long publishing. What could be the cause of my one site taking longer than usual to publish but not the other sites? Is it something I can fix?

I'm not sure if this is the true reason but I do know that there are different servers used for the builder. It's possible that different sites are on different servers and that the different servers have different loads.
I presume servers are recruited as the the load demand increases. Wondering if some of your files are on filled servers and others are on less saturated? This is a dynamic process. -

Inappropriate?well... the other sites generally take 10 seconds... this one takes about five minutes. -
Inappropriate?Donald - 5 minutes does seem unreasonable. Would you minding clicking on Help > Contact Support in the top right of the site builder and sending an email to us. Please mark it to my attention and we'll look into the problem.

Inappropriate?Hi Donald, I think the best thing to do with a site which is not finished is put up under construction notices and do as much work as you can (using preview page to see what it looks like) and THEN publish the changes, you dont have to publish every small change - just preview the page.

How do you put it under construction notice? -
On your homepage post a picture or say
"This site is under construction,Please try again later"
Just delete everything off your homepage, or add it in the homepage somewhere -
Hi Littleus,
You can create a new index page with your notice of under construction. Save your original one as something else.
Take off the under-construction page and rename your old index back to an active index when you're back in action -

Inappropriate?Thanks for providing that information Donald. Are you referring to Updating when you say it is taking a long time? You said you are doing it quite often so I just wanted to ask. Have you tried using a different browser? I'm not sure what you are using, but Firefox is a great browser that we would recommend. It is a free download: Download Firefox.

As i said i had the same problem, I have just downloaded and installed the latest java from java.com and now it go's faster and doesn't take years to load..
