Third party shopping cart - Paypal won't work within Yola
I am using a third party shopping cart (auctioninc) and all works well in my yola website up to the point of hitting the Paypal button. I get a Paypal message back of "transaction cannot be completed". Auctioninc says they think it has something to do with Yola (yola website name vs. the domain I purchased from GoDaddy). It thinks it is being redirected, thus it must be fraud, therefore won't work. Any suggestions? PayPal does not offer the shipping calculations I need, so I am using Auctioninc.

I added the 208.75.208.172 to the A Record. It seems to be working now. I think it took GoDaddy about an hour to link up. However, my yolasite name is not masked anymore. That is the least of my worries. I'm just glad it's working. Thanks Emmy. -

I tried a few of your items; clicked on "Add to Shopping Cart" and then clicked on the PayPal button. This went through for me, I didn't receive any error message. I didn't go through with the purchase; but made it through to that point. Are you checking this from your published site or from your site in Preview mode?
Are you able to have someone else try this for you to see if they receive the same error message you receive; or can you try this from another computer? Let us know how this goes for you.

Hi Karen,
I fixed this for you, your custom domain is no longer redirecting to the subdomain.
If your site is showing "Untitled Site" as the Window Title in your browser there is a way to change this. Here is how to name your site:
1. Click on the down arrow at the very top of the Site Builder page next to "Untitled Site".
2. Click "Rename Site"
3. Give your site a name.
4. Click "OK".
4. Click "Update Site" to apply the changes to your site.

To change the "Untitled Site", you will need to change the window title on your tab. You can change the window title of a specific page by clicking on the 'properties' tab in the right-hand side bar. You will then see a field marked "window title" - you can enter your window title there.
