Inappropriate?Well to be honest I really am dissappointed. The site held great promise and was really easy to use. However, now that I am ready to download the files I can't get into them. I was working with support and they couldn't figure it out either. Their solution was to download winzip and use that rather than Windows. When that still didn't work I just gave up. I have a lot of work to do and can't really afford to lose this kind of time.

I realize that it is frustrating, but we are not ready to give up on this until it is solved. I had another user with a similar problem today. The issue turned out to be a character in his site name that Windows wouldn't accept. See the thread here: http://getsatisfaction.com/SynthaSite...
Not sure if your problem is similar or something different, but I will not rest until we resolve this, so please put me out of my misery by working with us a while longer! It isn't always immediately obvious what the problem is and we have to look at all the alternatives, but we really want to help! Any additional information you could share with us about what happens when you try to open your file would be helpful

Inappropriate?Here's another thought: Of course what you do with your site is your decision, but if you are really short of time, why don't you just host your site with us? Just click "Publish" You could either publish to a free subdomain and have your site published in seconds, or publish to your own domain and host it with us for free and have your site up and running in 48 hours or less. I am willing to work with you on solving the problem with downloading your site, but you seem short of time, and this option is so much quicker and easier. It also makes updating your site much more straightforward.

I like the effort you guy put into insuring peoples satisfaction with the site. I have found you guys to be very helpful and quick to attempt to help in anyway you can. Monique I see you responding in a lot of threads and have found your advice very helpful. -
Inappropriate?Thanks Moonbear. We are here to help! It seems that the problem is with characters in the site name that Windows will not accept. We are working on a fix for this, but in the meantime if people rename their sites and remove the problematic character the download will be successful. I am hoping Kristy is going to come back with more information about her site and the file she downloaded so we can get things working for her!
