Hi Sush
I just want to clarify the steps for you to verify your site again, as this thread might have become somewhat confusing.
After you sign up for a Google Webmaster account and type in your URL, here are the steps you should follow:
1) Select the meta tag verification option. Here is an example of what you will see:
<!-- <meta name="verify-v1" content="bHhqyg8xA3R4knMc+W1+W7+U0/Fy2EBT580Jbxdtx8I=" /> -->
2) Copy only the long number you see between the quotation marks.
3) In SynthaSite, click on the properties sidebar and paste that code in the specially designated "Google Webmaster" field. Do this for every page of your site that you want Google to track.
4) Republish your site and check back with Google Webmaster to make sure that it has been verified
Let me know if you still have difficulty.
Best wishes
Monique

Inappropriate?To verify your site with Google Webmaster:
1) Copy the HTML verification code from Google Webmaster
2) Paste it into the specially designated field in the Properties sidebar.
3) Republish your site
You can then use your Google Webmaster account to make use of the powerful Google toolbox for webmasters.
If you don't have a Google Webmaster account, you can sign up for free at: http://www.google.com/webmasters/
I’m excited to introduce this feature!

Note: you need to add the code for every page of your site that you want Google to track. -
sir i copy only this meta tag <meta name="verify-v1" />
i saw the error as follows ..
Verification status: NOT VERIFIED
Last attempt Jul 20, 2008: The verification meta tag is in the wrong location on the page. It must be within the first <head> section of the page.
please help me ...</head> -
Inappropriate?Hi
I also found a bug. I noticed that once I pasted HTML code in the verify field, If I right away preview or save the page, the code would stay in the field. However, if I also did other changes, like modified the content, then the code disappear.
Then when I viewed the source code, I saw the meta name = ..... twice
It put the entire Html Code inside the content = " "
I tried to put the code here but I can't. Here's the sample page, you can look in the source code http://ide.synthasite.com/sites/D5be/...
I double checked the verify field in case I messed up. Everything looks fine in there.
It seems to me that it only wants me to enter the number. Am I suppose to only copy the verification number or the entire HTML code?
Thanks
Niddy -
Inappropriate?Sorry, I forgot to mention that I tried enter only the verification number and the code looks right. So please confirm hoe would you like us to enter the verify code.
Thanks again
Niddy

Inappropriate?I have tried copying and pasting the html code and the meta tag (separately in case I did the wrong one) into the designated field in the properties side bar and I keep getting the same error msg from google webmaster tools.
Verification status: NOT VERIFIED
Last attempt Jul 10, 2008: We've detected that your verification file returns a status of 404 (Not found) in the header.
Am I being impatient or should it work straight away? or have I done something wrong?
Thanks for the the hep! and the new updates are awesome! -
Inappropriate?Hi Niddy
Great question. You are correct, you should use the meta tag verification method and only enter the verification number. SynthaSite does the rest for you.
Thanks for helping us to clarify this point.
Dylankris - once you have added the verification number and republished your site it should be verified immediately. Get back to us if this does not work for you.

Inappropriate?Please tell me which part of the meta tag I must copy and paste
<meta name="verify-v1" /> -
It is a long number that looks something like this: bHhqyg8xA3R4knMc+W1+W7+U0/Fy2EBT580Jbxdtx8I= (second half of the tag) -
Inappropriate?Hi! I needed this FAQ info too.
Now I seem to need a sitemap. How do I go about that? -
Inappropriate?To submit a your sitemap you would need access to the root directory of your site, which you do not have at present. I can tell you that when you publish a site with us we submit a sitemap to Google on your behalf. It is in the format that Google likes, and it benefits from SynthaSite's high Page Rank, so it has the best chance of driving traffic to your site.
We can work on a way to give you access to your site map in future, but we want you to be aware that we are doing the best we can for you in the meantime.

Inappropriate?Hello Friends,
Using Google Webmaster with SynthaSite with evey Domain
Example i use
Google Account username as "yourname"
Synthasite Account username as "yourname"
Co.cc Domain as "yourname"
First register a account with www.google.com/webmasters
Sign into webmasters tools.Don't have a Google Account Create a Account.
In dash board Add site as www.yourname.co.cc
And click on the site www.yourname.co.cc
Click verify your site
Choose Verification method
Add a metatag
The window shows
<meta name="verify-v1" />
Select the tag in " "
cCmgDpExXMuAHkww+L0HggVXleZPDlCTeaKbpTmbcHc=
This tag copy to Synthasite Properties Google webmaster code field. And update your site
Next step :
Visit www.sitemapbuilder.com, enter your website url and extract all the urls in your site.
Click “Generate Google Sitemap.” A sitemap containing all the extracted urls is created.
like this -
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!--Google Site Map File Generated by <a href="http://www.sitemapbuilder.net">http://www.sitemapbuilder.net</a> Mon, 06 Apr 2009 20:50:31 GMT-->
<urlset>
<url>
<loc>http://www.yourname.co.cc/.</loc>>
<changefreq>always</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</loc></url>
<url>
<loc>http://www.yourname.co.cc/#</loc>
<changefreq>always</changefreq>
<priority>0.5</priority>
</url>
</urlset>
Copy the sitemap and paste it in Note pad.
Save it using the format “sitemap.xml”. Note: you must put “.xml” to make it save in form of a sitemap.
In your Synthasite account, click on File Manager. Upload the sitemap in file manger and create a folder and upload once the sitemap the folder to update your site. Your resources sitemap link is http://www.yoursite.co.cc/sitemap.xml or http://www.yoursite.synthasite.com/re.... This is not you sitemap link. You can’t submit this to Google.
Next, submit you sitemap link to Google. Do not include “resources”. This is the mistake that most people make. Your real sitemap link is http://yoursite.co.cc/sitemap.xml or http://yoursite.synthasite.com/sitema... Just type in “sitemap.xml” and click “submit sitemap.”
This is not a trial. As soon as you submit your sitemap to Google, it will be crawled by Google and your sitemap status will be shown in three hours. The urls in the sitemap will be submitted and after a week those urls submitted will be index with the keywords you have in your site.
Next step :
in google webmasters
Click to verify . the message show your site will be verified.
Click sitemap on google webmasters enter http://www.yourname.co.cc/sitemap.xml and submit sitemap
After 1 - 24 Hours the site verified
once the synthasite website update once.
And search it on google
