Widget box and Dial up connection
Widget box and dial-up issue. I have a slow connection. Widget box takes forever to load while I'm in the site builder. Does anyone else have this issue? My work around was to go straight to the widget company and sign up directly. That way I can load their site faster in a seperate window/tab (IE7) and then choose the widget and code. I think it's assumed that everyone has high speed access. Forget Youtube or video for me! We live out in the sticks and are lucky to have indoor plumbing and a phone line!

Inappropriate?I know what you mean! You can also use Widgetbox via the "widgets" folder in SynthaSite. We have a Widgetbox widget in this folder that you can drop on your page. A dialog will open up with a link to Widgetbox that opens the site in a new window. You can click on it, get your widget, copy the code and paste it in the dialog. Similar to going directly to the Widgetbox site but a little more convenient.
We will investigate the issue of Widgetbox gallery with slower connections, but I am not sure whether it can be improved. I hope the workaround does the trick for you in the meantime. -
