2 Domains to a site?

I have a site which has a domain A
I have another domain B that I would also like to point to my site

I have changed the DNS of my domain B to point to Yola. I know it is pointing to Yola, because if I go to the address it says, "Your domain is pointing to Yola ... follow these steps ..."

But when I go to the Domain manager and attempt to add it to one of my existing sites it says the domain is not pointed to Yola.

Help please.

Hi Rob,
Can you tell us the domain so that we can do a quick check of the records and see what the problem might be.

Thanks,
Emmy

Hi Emmy
The domain is bettercapital.co.za and I want to link it to the site baobabcapital.co.za - I do not seem to have access to "Advanced Domain Settings" - this may be the issue.
Regards
Rob

Hello Rob,

Thank you for your message. I did run a domain search and noticed that you only have one A Record set up with your registrar.

Please visit your registrar and set up a second A Record. After you have done this, you will not struggle pointing this second domain to your site.

I hope this helps, Josh. Please let me know if you need further assistance!

I have checked the DNS on GoDaddy and it shows two A records one a "www" and one "ftp" both pointing to the address. And it has been this way for about 7 days. I will delete them both and add two new A records.

By the way, I checked all my domains that point to Yola and work and they all come up with just one A record - even though on the DNS there are two pointing to the same sight - so I am pretty sure this isnt the problem

Hi rob
Thanks for the additional info. We've checked again and can still only see one A Record. I'm going to refer your question to our DNS team so that they can take an in-depth look at the problem.
We appreciate your co-operation while we work through this problem with you.
Thank you
Nazlie

Rob, in GoDaddy Total DNS Control, you want the line under A Host directed to Yola's IP, 184.72.229.176. Under CNames, be sure there is an "@" after "www."
Hope that helps.
