Hey Cory, do you have Yola Silver? You can now only point domains to Yola if you have a Silver account.

More info on that change here: Changes to Free Domain Pointing Feature

Sincerely,
Nathan

Thank you for the response Nathan. Sadly I did not know this. I have been a yola member for a long time now. I just paid for the domain 2 hours ago and now cant use it with my yola site.

Sadly the cost of Silver is way to much when the only feature I would currently use is the Domain Pointing. I would be willing to pay a smaller price for just that one feature but only a package deal is offered.

Now for the search of another website builder/host. It is truly a sad day.

I'm sorry to here you are leaving. Did you buy your domain from Yola, or from else where? I know, it was not a good idea to take that feature off of free accounts. I know lots of people use this. You can still forward your domain name, or "mask it" but it wont be the same, it will be in a frame.

I think that they should have let people already signed up with Yola to be bale to use the Domain Pointing still. If you already had your domain pointed before Feb. 15th then you would be able to use it because they allowed everyone to keep their domains pointed.

If you ever decide to use Yola again, you will still have the best support here on the Yola Forum and via email! :)

Best Regards,
Nathan Johnson

I usually purchase my domains from GoDaddy and configure them to work with my yola site. Yola doesn't support the transfer of .me yet either.

Thanks again for your help,

No problem, Cory :) They should've never done that because lots of people want .me and they can't afford Silver or don't want it.

Good luck on your site, Cory :)

Hi Cory,
I understand this is frustrating if you are used to being able to point your domains. Can you send an email to us at support@yola.com and mark it Attn: Emmy and I will see what I can do to help you with this.

Thanks,
Emmy
