"Save file as"

I think I suggested this before, but it would be a vast improvement to have a drop-down list of pages already made to choose from when clicking the "save page as" button. This would stop the addition of unwanted pages in case of a spelling error.

Hi Kent,

I hope I understand - instead of only being able to choose to save a copy of the current page, you'd like to be able to have the option of saving a copy of a different page of your site? Is that what you mean?

i think he means you know on your operating system when you save a file it gives you a list of other files with the same spelling (predicts what file name your writting) -- this.

@ kent - you do know that if you actually put the same page name it warns you that page already exists? I do like the idea tho.

Lee.

No Marije, to save file as one already saved, thus a list of what the person has saved will pop down with this list plus "save as" at bottom.
So if I have a page "images-A", and I make some changes; I want to see the name of the page in a list, to choose from, instead of having to type in the name every time. it will be the same page as what was already there, just an update. because if the person types in "imades-A", it will be a new page and not what was wanted, understand?
Duke, I know it will tell you the page exists, but if it does not, it just saves a new one that is not supposed to be there.
