I once asked a question about where can I make a flash slideshow like this one at the top of the page

http://www.woodlawnchurch.cc/

then an employee said you can use flash slideshow maker professional. I used it and now I can upload the .swf file but it's not on the same page and it when i click the link it says load fail. But I want the flash slideshow to be on the same page, the index page at the top like the website above.

What do I do?

hello luis,

You can certainly put a flash show on your index page. After you load the swf file into your resources folder (File Manager) then you pull an HTML widget from the sidebar of the builder and place it at the position you want the movie to display. Add the code to this widget and check the file names and address that it's pulling the swf from.

Being able to display at the very top of your page generally can't be done with Yola. This area sometimes has banners that can be replaced but not with flash movies.

The way around this is to select a style with either a high menu or a vertical menu and no preset banner area and insert the HTML widget as high as it will allow.

Hi,
I made several inquiries since May 3, 2011 and I am a little concerned since I have not received a "bounce back" e-mail from Yola to any of my recent e-mails advising that someone would contact me shortly.

Brianna provided me with some html code information as to how I could add a .swf file to my site however I did not get it to work. I'm not exactly sure why as I have previewed the file and it works. My e-mail attempts to reconnect regarding this issue included attached a copies of the .swf file and .pdf screen captures of what I'm doing so you can review.

This has been extremely frustrating and if someone can retrieve and review my e-mail requests and respond to them so I can resolve this issue that would be great.

Thanks,
WJQ
